msika.tech is a government approved platform for advertisements devoted to connecting buyers and sellers in Malawi. We are registered under BRN-B5TQ2M with the National Bureau of Registrations. Our service is affordable, fast, and user-friendly. You can advertise anything you want to sell. For buyers, msika.tech is a market available and accessible anytime on your phone or computer. Instructions for Users
msika.tech is easy to use. Follow these instructions to add an icon of Msika to your phone’s home screen:
- Launch “Chrome” app.
- Open the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen.
- Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.
- You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen. It should look like this:
This makes it easy to access Msika on your mobile phone like any other App.
Posting Adverts
Tap “Post Adverts” at the top of the home page and fill the required spaces on the form that follows all the way to the end. Be sure to provide your email addressed, phone number, brief description of your items, and photos.
Adverts will expire after 30 days. In which case, a notification will be sent to you to renew it if necessary. Use your access key to renew or edit your advert. This access key is sent to your email when you post an advert. If you sign up, you can log into your account and renew or edit your adverts without need for an access key. When an an item is sold, remember to mark it as “sold”. Expired adverts will be deleted after 10 days.
Caution
The following warnings apply to both sellers and buyers.
- Do not contact sellers with unsolicited items.
- Do not send money to anyone before physically appreciating the items they are selling.
- Avoid transactions that involve huge amounts of money using cash. We recommend that huge payments for purchases be made at the bank.
- Do not accept checks that are not verified. We recommend that you release your items to buyers who pay with checks after cashing or successfully making a deposit at the bank.
- Report any suspicious activity to Police and do not forget to flag them by taping the black flag at the bottom of the advert to turn it into red color.
We want our users to be safe at all times.
Data Management
We collect data from our users including IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Your information is kept safe and used solely for purposes of this site to serve you better. For questions to learn more about AI International, contact us on africapabilities@gmail.com.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Only post genuine photos.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
